EBAY Haul #9 - Nail Stuff, Makeup and More

I love Ebay and buy lots of thinks from them regularly.  My mailman hates me..lol.  I have packages delivered constantly and he always has a bundle for me.  Ebay is a great way to try out new products.  You can usually find a sample size to try to that you don't have to go out and buy a full size and find out that you don't like it an then have to return it.  We all know that is a hassle.  So shop Ebay.  If I find something I REALLY like, I will buy several on Ebay and stock up and that saves money and time.  Please enjoy this review and watch the video for more info.  I have also provided the sellers info below for each product.

Nail Practice Wheels:  I try to keep these in stock.  I use them in videos to show polishes I have purchased and I also use them for designs.  When I have an idea I use these to practice the design before putting it on my nail.  The saves my nails for having to go through putting on a taking off polish using acetone which can be drying.  I keep them in a cute container, that I also got on Ebay.  I have them for inspiration and to go back over any previous designs.  For those who want to do nail art, this is a great tool to have.  Depending on the seller, these can run from $.01 up to a few dollars and usually with free shipping.

Latex Finger Gloves:  These are also called "finger condoms".  For those who do nails or even for crafters these would be a great help.  They would keep you nails from getting damaged or messed up when doing a client's nails or when crafting to keep paint and other things off your nails.  There are 100 in this pack which will last me for a long time.  I like using them when I doing an acrylic set and have to do a lot of filing.  If I have a nice design on my nails that I don't want to mess up, these keep my nails protected.  I have used them when removing polish with acetone and they did not break or disintegrate.  I only use them on my thumb and pointer most of the time.  These were $1.39 with free shipping.

Nail Charms:  I have a few clients that love their nail jewelry, so Ebay is a great way to stock up on these items.  I have a client that wanted bows and I got these for her.  They are very cute with small pearls and a clear stone in the center.  You can adhere these with nail glue or acrylic.  You have to be very careful when wearing these to avoid knocking them off.

Holographic Nail Rhinestones:  I have quite a bit of these.  You can never have enough and they are so cheap, so why not.  I don't wear rhinestones that much but my clients do so I always have many for them to choose from.  These holographic ones a tiny for small nail beds and are so cute.  They ranged in price from $.99 to $1.39 with free shipping.

Makeup Blender Sponge:  We have all seen the Beauty Blender on You Tube.  Of course, there are dupes for this on Ebay.  I wanted to try one to see how it applied my makeup.  I did not like it for foundation but I really like it for concealer.  This one is really soft.  Just dampen and use.  I have ordered another one so I have a back up.  I spent $1.88 on this one with free shipping.  I did not want to spend over $20 for a sponge blender.  I know people swear by the original Beauty Blender, but for those on a budget, this may work great for you.  I like it.

Urban Decay Vitamin Infused Complexion Prep Spray:  You spray this on after you cleanse and before applying moisturizer.  It is suppose to help with redness and add vitamins to your skin.  I have only used it once and I did notice it did tone down redness.  I will have to keep using this to find out more.  I love these mini bottles.  The Urban Decay spray bottles mist so finely.  I have a mini of the All Nighter and I keep refilling it because I love how fine it mists the product.  I am currently using the LOREAL Infallible Makeup Extender setting spray in the Urban Decay bottle.  This prep spray was $.99 with $3.99 shipping.  The full size runs about $25 or $30.

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara:  I have used Tarte mascara before.  I have the one in Gifted and really enjoyed it.  I love the tight natural bristles.  They separate my lashes.  The formula in the Lights Camera Lashes it great, too.  I will be looking into getting the Lights Camera Flashes too.  Ebay does have it as a sample size.  I do not see any flaking with this product and will look into getting another sample size.  This was $1.36 with $2.00 shipping.

Tarte Smooth Operator Finishing Powder:  This stuff kicks butt.  I use it to set my concealer and it does the job well.  I have also used it to set my foundation and it is just as amazing.  This comes in a larger size for approximately $25-$30.  I like this sample size and will be getting a back up.  You only need to tap you brush in slightly and use a small amount.  I have been using this for about 3 months and I have not even begun to make a dent.  This is a product that would be a great investment if you want to spend the extra money.  It is great for any skin tone.  I disappears in to the skin.

L.A Girl Neons Eyeshadow palette:  I have heard some much about the L.A Girl products, I wanted to try the eyeshadows.  I was bit disappointed with them begin powdery and a bit hit or miss on the color payoff.  I  tried them with NYX Milk to see if the color would pop more and I was right.  As you can see in the picture above of the swatches on my arm.  The top row is plain and the second row is with NYX Milk as a base.  As you can see the colors come alive with this white base.  Especially with darker skin tones, this base will help for those colors to appear more vibrant.  I also, found that trying to remove them was a chore.  The NYX base did not want to let go of the color.  This is good thing which tells me that they will last for a long time.  I paid $7.00 for this with free shipping.

Urban Decay Cream Eyeshadow:  I love Urban Decay products and this one I will add to my list.  I have purchased the pigments on Ebay in the past and love them.  I recently got the Smoked palette and love it.  These cream eyeshadows are the bomb.com.  They are VERY pigmented and once they set, they are not coming off.  You don't need primer with these either.  I can't wait to use these and will look into getting more colors.

Listed below are the sellers from whom I purchased all of these items.

EMPTIES JULY-OCT 2014

This blog has been a long time coming..lol.  I have been so busy with school, work, family and such, it has been hard to keep up with my blogs and videos on youtube, but I am trying to get back in the swing of things.  There are quite a few things in this blog, so I apologize for the length.  This is for July thru Oct.  I appreciate your patience in reading this blog. Get a drink and a snack and let's go ahead and get started.

Blum Naturals All Purpose Cleansing Wipes:  I got these is a Beauty Box a few months back.  I like these for the packaging, which is cute and small.  You can throw it in you makeup bag or attach it to your backpack or handbag.  There are 30 wipes.  They are small, but they clean well.  I kept these in my desk at work.  I usually apply my makeup at work, because the lighting is wonderful and I always wipe my face first just in case I am oily, so that my makeup goes on nicely.  I do my makeup at home too, only when I don't have to work.  I am in a cubicle and talk on the phone.  Doing my makeup makes the time go by so much faster.

PONDS Facial Wipes:  If you have watched my hauls and other empties videos and blogs you know that I love my PONDS facial wipes and as you can see I have gone through quite a few.  The original ones I get at my local Meijer for $1.00.  There are 7 in a pack and I cut them in half to get a better value out of them. The exfoliating ones only come in the 30 count, which I cut in half as well.  I try to wait until the 30 counts are on sale for buy 1 get 1 and I have a coupon.  When I do buy them they last for a while.  I always have some on hand and will never run out. I use them after I have cleansed my face.  They really do removed any makeup residue, eye liner and mascara wonderfully.

Clean & Clear Morning Burst Hydrating Gel Moisturizer and Deep Action Cleanser:  This is my favorite moisturizer.  I use it before I put on my makeup.  You only need a little bit and it keeps my face very moisturized.  There are certain parts of my face that can get a bit dry and when I apply foundation and this helps to keep those areas moisturized.  I am currently using a few other moisturizers but I will get another one of these when I am finished with the others.  The cleanser I got at Walmart in their trial sizes.  It is nice and doesn't dry my face out.  I don't go to Walmart that often but when I do I will get another trial size.

OXY Daily Defense Cleanser:  I got this at the beginning of the year from Walmart.  I wanted to get the Walmart dupe for the Neutrogena oil free face wash but they were out and I had a coupon so I decided to get this.  It did help my break outs but it did dry my face out.  It was ok.  I don't think I will be buying another one any time soon.  These do come in several different options.  The one I used is the aloe and cucumber.

LANCOME Bi-Facial eye makeup remover:  I really love is eye makeup remover.  It comes with two layers.  One is an oil layer so they are not mixed.  You have to shake it up first before using.  There is no fragrance and it is very gentle.  I will be looking into getting another.  I purchased this one on ebay.

ION Silk Drops:  I discovered this product at Sally's Beauty.  They were giving out samples of these with purchase.  I fell in love with it and got this one for free with one of their buy 1 get 1 sales.  I have had this one for almost a year.  These drop are silicone based and you only need a little bit.  I use these after I wash my hair and when I blow dry my hair.  It leaves your hair very, very soft.  I have purchased a new bottle with a $5 off coupon.  This bottle runs $6.99 each.

CoverGirl Clean Makeup Sensitive - Tawny:  This is my ideal shade.  It matched my skin perfectly.  When I wear this it looks like I don't have on any makeup.  It softens any acne scars and makes my face look very natural.  I found this shade a year ago this is the second one I have gone through.  It is medium to full coverage and little is all I need.  I am almost through a third bottle and have a fourth as a backup.  I will NEVER run out of this.  This is the first foundation I have found that matches me completely and I have been wearing makeup for a VERY LONG TIME..lol.  Most foundations have too much red in them.  This has cool undertones which works well with my skin tone and is what makes it look very natural.

AVON Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil:  I love this argan oil.  I have been using this since AVON came out with this several years ago.  I use this after I wash my hair and when I am curling it on the ends.  It has a light scent and it not oily.  I have gone through many of these and have 2 backups so I don't run out.  I usually get them on sale for $7.99.

AVON Advance Techniques Mirror Shine Spray:  I have also been using this for many years and always purchase it when it is on sale for $3.99.  This add a nice shine to your hair.  A little goes a long way.  If you use too much it will weigh you hair down and make it look greasy.  I always have a back up of this as well.

AVON Nail Experts Green Tea Cuticle Serum:  This is a nice treatment for your cuticles.  There are little beads in this serum that burst when you rub it into your cuticles to keep them hydrated and moisturized.  There is a little spatula that helps get the product out and apply to the nail.  There isn't really a scent to this.  I may purchase another, but right now I have several cuticle oils that I currently using and won't need to purchase any for quite a while.

RITE AID Renewal Advanced Recovery Body Lotion:  Nothing really special about this lotion.  I was at RITE AID looking for some makeup that was on sale and needed a hand cream for my desk and this was only $1.00.  I do not like dry hands and keep a hand cream in my car, my desk at work and at home.

AVON On Duty Sport and Cool Confidence Deodorant:  Again, if you have watched my other videos and blogs you know that I love my AVON deodorant.  I use the Cool Confidence in baby powder now and again but my fave is the On Duty Sport.  These are usually under $1.00 each.  I also get the bigger bonus size too which can run up to $1.75 each.  They don't break me out and keep my feeling fresh all day.

AVON Skin So Soft Wintersoft hand cream:  This only comes out during the winter months.  It is non-greasy and has nice light powdery scent.  It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin very hydrated. I keep one of these in the car during this winter.  I love this lotion.  It also comes in a body wash, hand soap and body creme.  I will be talking about all 4 in an upcoming AVON haul so stay tuned for that.  I got this one on sale fr $3.99.

AVON Moisture Therapy Intensive Healing & Repair Extra Strength Cream:
I love this lotion on my elbows and knees and feet, where you can get extra dry.  I use it on my hands too and keep a jar on my desk at home.  It is a rich, fragrance free lotion.  I wait until it is on sale to purchase and I always have one on hand.  I got this one for $2.49.

SECHE VITE Fast Dry Top Coat:  I use this top coat all the time.  I also keep one in my kit.  I love using it on clients.  It keeps the polish and design looking nice for a long time and dries quickly so that they don't mess up their nails before they get home.  I really used 4 of these.  I found the other one after I had filmed.  I always have a back up of this.  I get mine on ebay.

JORDANA 12 hr Made To Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil -  Black Point:  I kept hearing about this eye liner on you tube and finally found them at my local Walgreens.  They sit in an area that is not really labeled for Jordana products.  They are right above the Sinful Colors display at the beauty counter at Walgreens.  I also discovered their eyeshadows at Kmart.  Their eyeshadows are wonderful.  If you would like to see a blog and video reviewing the eyeshadows, I have from Jordana, please let me know.  These eyeliners are AMAZING.  I had been trying to find a liner that would not transfer and  lasted all day and there it is.  I have gone through many of these liners and always have a back up.  Other than the Urban Decay Perversion pencil, this is the only liner I like to use.  I have been experimenting with some actual liquid liners but I always come back to this one.  The color is a true black and goes on so smoothly.

Acetone from Sally's Beauty and Family Dollar:  I usually get my acetone from Sally's Beauty.  I get the straight acetone and the pure acetone which is the nourishing.  When I don't feel like going all the way to Sally's and I need acetone, I go to Family Dollar and get their brand for $1.00.  This one claims to have Argan Oil in it.  I could not tell.  It works like any other acetone.  Nothing different.

SALON SELECTIVES Hairspray:  Nothing really special about this hairspray.  I needed some and purchased this from Dollar Tree.  The only thing I did not like is that it tended to clog and I would have to run it under hot water to get it to spray again.  I am currently using a different hair spray I found at Dollar Tree that I am in love with.  I will be talking about it in my favorites video coming out soon.

AVON Imari Mystique Shower Gel:  I am working through quite a few bath products right now. I have many that are barely or half full and am trying to use them up to make space for more items I want to purchase.  I also have this in the body lotion and parfum spray.  It is a scent great for this time of year with a woody, musky fragrance.

ANNANATURALS Glowing Mama facial scrub:  I got this in a beauty box and I am looking into getting another.  This walnut face and body scrub has a fine git or walnut shells that really exfoliate the buff the skin with a wonderful fragrance.  I used this every other day and my face felt so soft afterwards.

ORLY Cuticle Oil:  Nothing special about this cuticle oil I got at Sally's Beauty for $.99.  It had a nice scent and did keep my cuticles hydrated.

ALMAY Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover Pads:  I have talked about this product many times before.  These little pads take off eye makeup with no problem.  They are hypoallergenic and fragrance free.  I get 15 pads at my local Meijer for $1.00.  I still have about 3 more of these to use.  I am currently using the Clinique Gentle eye makeup remover.  Once that is gone, I will start back using these.

CARESS Body Wash - Passionate Spell:  Another great fragrance for this time of year.  A woodsy, musky, cedar like scent. The lather is rich and abundant.  I do not like body washes that do not give me lots of lather.   I love Caress products anyway and this scent is one I will purchase again.  I got this one because it was on sale and I had coupon. I ended up paying about $2.00 for this. I love my coupons and I use them all the time.  I currently have quite a lot of body products I am working through, so I won't be getting another one of these until get go through what I have.

e.l.f Lip Exfoliator:  I was sad when I ran out of this product.  I use it every day to make sure my lips are soft.  I did recently get a new one so I am happy.  This product has a vanilla smell and taste with brown sugar.  It takes of the dead skin to leave your lips smooth and soft which helps your lipstick and glosses go on so much better.  This item is $3.00 each.  I got mine at my local Meijer.

Victoria Secret Pro Airbrush FX Face Primer:  This is the first face primer I ever used and loved it so, until I found the Tarte primer which is listed below.  I got this on ebay for $2.50.  It goes on like a liquid powder and helps minimize pores and makes your foundation go on smoothly.   I would think about getting a bigger bottle, but I am currently using several different face primers and will be doing a review on those soon.

AVON Nail Experts Cuticle Conditioning Pen:  I like this cuticle pen because it does hydrate my cuticles and it smells like lavender.  I have gone through so many of these it is crazy.  I always have one with me at all times.  I hate when my cuticles get dry.

Fortune Cookie Soap Whipped Body Butter:  I get the Fortune Cookie Soap Box 4 times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter) for $19.99 per box.  They are handmade products with natural ingredients that and wonderful.  The smells are awesome and the quality is amazing.  This body butter smelled like cereal from the Summer box and their theme was Candy Aisle.  Everything in the box smells like childhood.

CARMEX Lip Balm:  This is my favorite lip balm, EVER.  I get this at the Dollar Tree  for $1.00 vs the drug store at $2.99 or more.  I always have on with me.  It keeps my lips well moisturized and soft.  I don't get chapped lips as much when I use this.  I have many lip balms that I use, since I do not really like lipstick, I usually use a gloss or lip balm.

Miss Jessie's Multicultural Curls Styling Lotion:  This works great on curly hair.  My childern are of mixed heritage and they both have beautiful curly hair.  This packet came with a Beauty Box and is quite full and lasted for a long time.  You only need a little bit.  I would dampen my son's hair and then add this and then comb thru.  It kept the curls in shape and added shine.  The only thing I did not like was the smell.  It is kind of hard to explain and it is quite potent.  Not a smell I would like to have in my hair or body.  It does fade but until then, it is not a good smell.  I would consider repurchasing this, but because of the smell I will not.

HASK Argan Oil Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment:  I am in love with this product.  This also came in a Beauty Box.  I got 3 uses out of this packet.  I use it after washing my hair for conditioning.  It made my hair very soft and managable.  My hair is slightly dry and it kept my hair moisturized.  I have found it for sale at my local Walgreen's for $2.99.  I have also purchased the actural Argan oil there as well and have been using it.  It is not as good as my AVON Argan oil but I will use it up.

Tarte Clean Slate Poreless 12 hr Profecting Primer:  This stuff is the bomb.com.  I first got this in a gift box with this and a mascara and BB cream.  I fell in love with this primer.
This is the second one I have used and am working on a third.  These are sample sizes that I get on ebay.  The large size is $30.  I am looking to purchase a larger size at tax time.  This leaves the skin very smooth.  If you have enlarged pores, this is the primer for you.  A little goes a long way so it is worth the money.

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Jasmine Vanilla Smoothing Oil:  I got this a long time ago on ebay.  These are not sold anymore.  I love this oil to use as a massage oil.  You only need a little bit and the fragrance lasts a long time.  It comes in a pump bottle.  I would really like to get another one.  I will be looking on ebay and amazon to see what I can find.  I think I only paid a few dollars for it and got more than a year of use out of it.  I have quite a bit of Bath and Body Works products that I am working thru from backstock so you will see many items going forward forward with futures empties.

I want to thank you for reading and watching today.  I apologize for the length.  I will do my best to make sure to keep up with my blog and videos for my empties and reviews.  Please check out the video below for more info on these items.
