e.l.f haul

While I was grocery shopping a few weeks ago, I saw that some e.l.f items were on clearance and decided to purchase a few.  Here is a review of those items.

e.l.f Custom Compact:  This was originally $1 and was on clearance for $.75.  This is an empty, magnetic eyeshadow pallette where you purchase the individual e.l.f eyeshadows and put them in this compact.  This may fit other eyeshadows that are magnetic.  Most of the items had been picked over but I did get a few decent colors to make the pallette.  The colors I chose, from top left to bottom right are: Wysteria, Pink Ice, Driftwood and Purple.  All of these are very pigmented and very soft shadows.  A little bit goes a long way.  e.l.f is a cheap product with a great formula and when it is on clearance you can't beat the value.

Wysteria:  Beautiful lavender/lilac shade which would be a great lid color or transition color.

Purple:  A deep grape purple that would be wonderful as a crease or outside corner color and even a liner color it applied over a black or plum eye liner.

Driftwood:  A chocolate/bronze color that would make a good lid color and liner.

Pink Ice:  This color is not pink at all.  It is a creamy bone color that would be used as a brow contour.

All of these colors blended well.  For the price ($5.00 total), you get a lot of product.  This pallette would be good to just pop into your purse or keep in your desk at work.  You can get at least 2, maybe 3 looks from these colors.  You can go from day to night with these colors as well.
