BEAUTY BOX 5 - JULY 2014

Another late one.  I apologize.  These last few months have been very busy for me trying to keep up with my blog and youtube channel.  I appreciate your patience.  This is for the Beauty Box 5 for July 2014.  I am very happy with the products in this box.  Let's go ahead and get started.

REVLON Bold Lacquer Mascara:  I have seen lots of folks talk about this mascara on youtube and some really love it or really hate it.  I, personally, really like it.  I find that it does add volume and length without clumping.  The brush hs natural bristles.  You may have to clean off the brush a bit before application, but I did not mind that at all.  I do not get any transfer and it does define.  There is no problem with taking it off at the end of the day with an eye make up remover.  I will be repurchasing one of these in the future.

HASK Argan Oil Intense Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment:  I really like this product.  Depending on the length of your hair, you can get several uses from this packet.  I have medium length, thick hair and I will get at least 3 uses.  You use it like any other conditioner.  After you wash, just apply from root to tip and let set for 10 minutes and rinse.  My hair was very soft and light after using this product.  I will definately be getting more.  At Sally's Beauty, I saw that this also comes in a hair mask.

Miss Jessie's Multicultural Curls:  This product works great on my sons' hair.  Since they are of mixed heritage this is a product for them.  They both have really good hair and naturally curly hair that is easy to manage.  This lotion helps keep their curls under control.  You only need a little bit.  The only thing I don't like, is the smell.  It smells like a perm.  I wish it came it the wonderful scent of the curling mousse that came with the Beauty Box for June from Design Essentials that smelled like Cherry Jello.  I don't know if I will be repurchasing this due to the smell, but I will be getting another of the mousse.  Check out my review of this product and other in the June Beauty Box.

Body Drench Candy Licious Lip Balm - Grape Lollipop: As some of you may know, I love my lip balms.  I am not a lipstick wearer.  I use gloss or balm, mostly balm.  This one from Body Drench is one that I like.  There was another Body Drench lip balm in a previous Beauty Box (shown below) that was wonderful.  It smells like a piece of mint gum.  

Anna Naturals Glowing Mama  Walnut Face and Body Scrub:  I am really enjoying this facial scrub. It is light and very fine so you don't feel like you are scrubbing your skin off.    It says it is for "expecting moms".  I am not expecting anything..lol.  My baby maker has been closed for quite some time now.  This product is very gentle and smells like citrus and walnut.  Very refreshing.  I did not get any irritation or break outs and will consider purchasing another.
