Beauty Box 5 - FEB 2014

Here is my review for the Beauty Box 5 for February 2014.  I really enjoyed some of the items in this month's box.

This coupon came in the box for $10 off your order from MyNameNecklace.com.

This is the front of the card that tells the products inside the box.  February is the birthday month for Beauty Box 5.  They started only a few years ago, in 2011 and have become very popular.

When you open the card, here are the products inside the Beauty Box 5 for February 2014 that I will be reviewing.

ROCKSTAR NAILS:  There is a bright pink nail color and pink caviar beads.  There was no name for the colors of these items.  I am not a pink lover, but these are a great addition to my polish collection.  Below, you can see how it will look on the nail plain, and with the caviar beads.  To apply the beads, paint one or two coats of polish.  When it is almost dry, sprinkle the beads on the nail.  Do this over a piece of paper so that you can fold it and put any extra beads back into the bottle.  You can then add a top coat.  The picture is shown without top coat.  The smell of the polish is like that of a permanent marker.

JOHN FRIEDA LUXURIOUS VOLUME:  There are 2 samples of this in the box.  There is a shampoo and conditioner.  This is great for color-treated hair and gives hair touchable volume and fullness.  I have not used this product yet.  I have using John Frieda items, such as the Frizz Control hair spray and serum.   I love them both.  I will report back on these items.   Each packet has a $2 coupon towards the purchase of any John Frieda Luxurious Volume styling product.

H2O PLUS SPA Hand and Nail Cream:  I like the rich cream.  It has a light fragrance.  This lotion absorbs quickly without being greasing at all.  Keep this in your purse, car or desk so that you have something when you hands get dry and to keep cuticles hydrated.

ELIZABETH MOTT It's So Big Volumizing Mascara:  I really like this mascara.  I can see fullness and volume when I use it on my lashes.  The formula is thin and fluid.  Just wipe some off on the top and apply.  I found that it did not cause clumping.  It did separate the lashes well and did not leave a heavy feeling on my lashes.  It was very light, which I really like.  I don't like mascara with weight, so that when you blink you can feel the weight and makes you top and bottom lashes stick together or pull on each other when you blink.  This mascara stays on all day and takes a bit of time to remove.  I use a face wipe.  I am going to look into purchasing a regular size bottle when I am done with this sample size.  Below you can see the hourglass brush.
