Fortune Cookie Soap Box

Here is my first review for The Soap Box from Fortune Cookie Soap.  I heard about this box watching grav3yardgirl on youtube and decided to try it.  This box comes seasonally in Spring Summer, Fall and Winter and is $19.99 per box.  I understand why this box would not come each month.  How much bath and beauty products would you need in a month.  I hope you enjoy and will try this box.  You can cancel anytime you like.

Here is the card that came with the box to show all the products.  The back shows all the products and some of the ingredients that I do mention in my video linked below.

NATIVE NECTAR Body Wash:  This body wash smells like fresh coconut.  I did not like that it does not lather much.  When I use body wash, I like lots of lather and this product did not deliver on that note.  The smell is great and it did not leave my skin dry but I do like a lot of lather.  It is a pearly color with a med consistency.

AFTERNOON DELIGHT OCD Hand Sanitizer:  This hand sanitizer smells like watermelon and is no different than any other I have used.  It is pink with a bit of sparkle.  Great to keep in your purse, car or desk.  I always have a hand sanitizer with me, especially when I go to the grocery.

MARSHMALLOW DREAMS Cuticle Butter:  I LOVE this cuticle butter.   I use quite a lot of cuticle products as mine are so dry and my hands are in water quite a bit.  I use cuticle products all day, every day.  This smells great and is really "butterlike".  When you put it on, it warms with your body heat and literally "melts" onto your skin like butter.  I will look into purchasing a larger pot of this.  It works great to keep my cuticles moisturized and smells amazing.

MAKE IT RAIN Whipped Cream lotion:  This lotion smells great and hydrates well.  I like the thick consistency.  I don't like thin lotions.  It leaves a nice light scent on the skin.  The jasmine and musk are very pronounced with an undertone of cedarwood.

FORBIDDEN FRUIT Fortune Cookie Soap:  This is their signature item, hence the name Fortune Cookie Soap.  This is a large fortune cookie shaped soap that is citrus scented.  I have used it and it makes my whole bathroom smell like lemons.  I used it in the shower and found that the lather was not that great.  This soap would be mainly used for hands to keep at the sink.  It did not dry out my skin which I liked but is not for the bath or shower lather wise.  There is a fortune inside.  Mine said "Don't eat yellow snow".

ME SO THORNY Steam Me Up Scotty:   I think this is a bath fizzy.  It does not say on the card or online so that is what I will assume it is.  It comes wrapped in gold foiling and mine was broken a bit but that is okay since it will be dissolved anyway.  It has a very pungent aroma of citrus.  I have not used this yet as I take showers more so than baths but I think I will use it in the shower just for aromatherapy purposes.  The fragrance will wake you up.  I found later that this is a shower bomb.

THE BLOOM BLOOM ROOM Bath Fizzy:  This was suppose to be the shape of a flower but it broke which is okay.  I am glad it was in a plastic bag.  This bath fizzy smells like candy and makes you want to eat it.  I may also use this in the shower for aromatherapy as well.

VENUS FLY TRAP Perfume Oil:  I LOVE this perfume oil.  I could bathe in this.  I am not a floral person when wearing perfumes or colognes or oils, but this stuff is AWESOME.  I will be re-purchasing this but currently it is sold out on the web site.  This oil is so "in your face" with fragrance.  A little dab will do you.  It is very strong, but most perfumes and colognes don't stay on my skin very long so I use oils too which last longer.  With this one being so potent, I only need a little.  I  notice after a while the smell does tone down.

I hope you enjoyed this review and will check out the Fortune Cookie Soap and their website  http://www.fortunecookiesoap.com.  Please watch the video below for more info on these products.  I cannot wait for the next box.  This is a great investment and worth the money.  I love my "smell goods" and this box just feeds my smell good needs.  Thanks for reading and watching.
