I got some new items from AVON recently and wanted to share them with you. There are some new products and some old. I hope you enjoy.
Skin So Soft Wintersoft hand lotion and body cream: There are several different Skin So Soft products. This is the Wintersoft series. I have noticed these come out only in the late fall and winter. I have seen them for several years but never tried them until about 2 years ago and fell in love. Some of our winters in Ohio can be very dry and this current winter is no exception. These are both very moisturizing. There is a very soft smell, like powder and they are both very rich and absorb quickly and are not greasy. I had already purchased a hand cream and body cream and bought a back up since they were on sale for $3.99 each before they go away until this fall.
Elements Moisture Boost Night Gel Cream: These are new products and come in different formulas. Blue for moisture, yellow for revilatizing and purple for youth restoring. Each formula has different products for different skin problems. I chose this one because I wanted to try a night moisture cream. This gel is very light and has no smell at all. It is oil free and leaves my skin feeling great. In the morning my face feels very soft and smooth. This was on sale as well which was even more incentive to try it.
Clearskin Professional Daily Correcting Lotion: This comes in a series on the same lines as Proactive. You have different steps to follow for acne control. There are 3 or 4 steps. A scrub, toner, correcting lotion and a mask. I only use the correcting lotion after I wash my face and before I apply my moisturizer before bed. This helps control my acne. I am in my 40's and I still get break outs. It comes in a pump bottle, which I really like. It only take a few pumps to have enough to cover my face. If I do not use this every day, I can tell the difference as my face will start to break out. It has .50% salicylic acid. With the acne face wash I use that has 1% salicylic acid, these two help keep down breakouts.
Mosaic Effects Top Coat: These are AVON's version of crackle polish. I have several colors. Check out my polish collection video for AVON to see those I have. There are a few new colors and I chose these. The gold is Gold Glimmer and the green is Gleaming Emerald. With all crackle polish, you just need just a little bit. If you put on too much or too thick the crackle doesn't work well.
Extra Lasting Concealer: This is my favorite concealer and you have heard or read me singing its praises. It goes on smooth and covers wonderfully. I don't have any problems with caking. It evens out my skin tone on my eyelids before I apply primer. I set this concealer with the Revlon PhotoReady finishing powder. The color I use is chestnut.
Dual Ended Nail Tool: This is a new product. This is great for those who are new to nail art of for those who just want to experiment. One end is a small brush and the other end is a small dotting tool. I have used the dotting tool end, it is a standard tool. I cut down the brush a bit as I felt it was to thick. I works alright. I will use it as a back up for filling in larger spaces or outlining a design. This is a great and inexpensive tool for only $1.49 each.
I bought 3.
Color Crème Eyeshadow: Here are a few new eyeshadows. There are 4 of these and I got 2 of them. The colors are hazelnut and fig. These go on nicely. I use a brush to apply and blend before they set. I use an eyeshadow primer with any eyeshadow I use. I like these as a base color. They are sheer and can be built up. You can put another color over them to build color as well. A little goes a long way with these. I don't have any cream shadows in my collection but I really like these.
Here is one of the other colors in this collection. There are 4 in total. I just got this one yesterday. This color is Champagne. I used this today as a base color with smokey grey as a corner and crease color. It was very nice. It did will with a primer. This color would be a great base with another color over it.
This color is Hazelnut.
This color is Fig.
mark eyeshadow: These are shadows you can buy individually. They come in matte, shimmer and metallics. These can be used wet or dry. You can also buy the holder for 2 or 4 shadows. I only have the one that holds 2. They are magnetic and easy to take in and out. I have about 6 different colors total of these shadows. You get a lot of product that will last you for a very long time. These shadows are very pigmented and blend nicely. They run about $6 per shadow. The holders are about $6-$8.
This color is Luster.
This color is Tiki.
These shadows come in a box and then inside these plastic containers. These are sturdy and are great storage when you are switching out your colors from the magnetic compact. These two are colors I already had.
This color is Moulliee.
This color is Barista. I did not mention it in my video, sorry.
Here are the other 2 that I mentioned, that I have had for a long time. These have so much product, it will take quite a while to use it all. As you can see, I have used these and still have a lot to go. I have had these about 5 years. This color is a dark blue called Night Owl.
This color is Java. It is a dark burgundy brown. I love with color and they all blend beautifully.
