Walgreen's, Meijer and AVON Haul

These are products I purchased at Walgreens, Meijer and AVON.  Lately, I have been doing a lot of hauls.  There have been so many things on sale or clearance, I can't help myself.  Also, when I  have a coupon, I like to use it and with the REVLON polishes being marked down and coupons.com having $1 off coupons, you can't go wrong.  They are still having these coupons available for the month of June so, go check it out.  I hope you enjoy my review of these products and will leave a comment if you have or have used any of these items.  I would love to hear from you.

Wet N Wild Megalast: $1.99 each These polishes are limited editions for the summer.  I saw them on display at Walgreens. There are about 3 or 4 more colors with this collection.  These two are Contact High and Coast to Coast.  The formula for these is thin, which is not the norm for the Megalast polishes.  Out of all of those I own, none have a thin consistency.  They are usually thick and creamy and go on great with one coat.  These two are thin and will require several coats.  The colors are very vibrant for the summer, so pick these up before they disappear.  

Wet n Wild MegaProtein Mascara: $1.89 each  Meijer's was having a sale on Wet n Wild and I also had $1 off coupons.  I got this mascara to try.  The formula is light and contains Acai oil.  I really liked this at first but since the formula is so light, is also very lucid.  I liked how it applied and I like the brush, but I later started to notice that I left spots on my eyelid.  When the tips of my lashes touch my eyelid, there were lots of spots.  It drys very slowly.  You will need to apply then close you eyes to allow it to dry completely so you don't get the spots.  I ended up paying only $.89 for it after my coupon so I can't complain, but I will not be repurchasing this in the future.  I am hoping the formula will dry out some so that I will adhere better and dry faster. *fingers crossed*  Otherwise, I like this product.

Wet n Wild Juicy Lip Balm - Raspberry: $1.89 each  This is a giant lip balm.  I like using lip balms instead of lipstick or gloss most of the time.  it smells like a raspberry candy but has no taste.  There is a hint of color with this lip balm.  It goes on smooth and with a bit of shine.  Be careful, if you have thinner lips, this will put lip balm all around you lips since it is just a big lip balm.  It doesn't last long enough to be hydrating, especially if you lick your lips a lot.  Even if don't, it does not last on the lips at all.  It will start to disappear on it's own.

Wet n Wild Matte Top Coat:  $.99 each  Wet n Wild now has a matte top coat.  It is a true matte finish.  I have a few matte top coats and some still have some shine.  This one does not.  As you can see below, it is a wonderful matte.  I am looking into a few nail designs with this and for the price, you can't beat it.

REVLON Nail Color:  Orchid - Chameleon - Fearless:  Once again coupons.com has come to my discount rescue.  They have had $1 off coupons on and REVLON product for the past 2 months.  I believe they are still offering the coupon for June as well.  These polishes are on discount right now and the $1 coupon really helps with the savings.  I only have a few REVLON polishes and I got those on discount at Kroger's and on ebay.  I like the formulas and the bold colors.  I will be heading back to Meijer's tomorrow, since I do my grocery shopping every Thursday, to get a few more.  These were $3.99 regular price.  $2.99 with coupon.

Color Club and Rimmel Lasing Finish Pro Nail Color:  Wild Orchid and Crushed Pearl:  My local Meijer's is now selling Color Club polishes.  I have a few from ebay but I am glad they are being sold locally.  They are affordable at $1.99 each.  The summer colors are out right now with lots of bright oranges and pinks.  I may have to look into those.  This grey was on clearance.  I think it was 50% off.  I used this color in my Divergent Dauntless No Water Marble nail tutorial.  Feel free to check that out on my you tube channel http://youtu.be/qak0je9epi4 . This is the 2nd Rimmel polish I have purchased.  The last one was a green.  This color would make a great french manicure. It has an undertone of purple.  I am also looking into using this is a tutorial as well.  I got this on clearance too, marked down to $1.89.

mark nail lacquer:  Rosetta - Blue Bella:  mark is from AVON geared towards the 16-24 age group.  There are a lot of products in this line from clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, makeup, skin care and much more.  I bought these since they came as a trio for $2.99.  I have another trio from this brand.  I like the formula which is great and goes on in one coat.  These were in the outlet book which means they will not be around for long.  Check with you local AVON representative or online at avon.com to see if they are still available.

AVON Speed Dry:   Prompt and Pearly:  I have quite a few AVON polishes and I like the Speed Dry.  It doesn't dry in 30 seconds, it starts to set up in 30 seconds.  It will still take about 5 minutes for it to full dry.  The formulas are wonderful and go on in one coat.  This shade would also be a great french manicure or for those who just like a hint of color on their nails.  These are $6.00 regular price but can be on sale at any time for half or less.
