I have quite a few items in my empties for April 2014. There were some I missed but will put in with my empties for May 2014. If you use any of these products, please leave a comment.
Sally Hansen Black Heart and Wet n Wild French White Creme: These are my favorite black and white polishes. They are both very inexpensive. The black is $1.99 and the white is $.99. I use these quite a bit in my videos and I always have a back up of both. The black goes on in one coat. The formula is awesome and drys rather quickly and lasts for a long time. The white can go on in one coat but may need two. It makes a good french manicure or to use under other colors to make them stand out. The only thing I don't like is that it yellows over time and doesn't last as long. I have been trying out another white, Sinful Shine in Wisp which is really shiny and does not yellow. They are $1.99.
Vera Wang Sheer Veil: I love my "smell goods". I have a draw with about 50 or 60 different perfumes and colognes. I were a different scent every day depending on my mood. I got this one on ebay, which is where I get a lot of my higher end designer fragrances. I love Vera Wang and this fragrance is light and feminine. I will look into getting more.
Dazzle Dry and Seche Vite top coats: These are my favorite top coats. The Dazzle Dry is a thick formula and dry rock hard in 6 min and makes you mani last for over a week. Most of the time w/o chips for more than 5 days. The Seche Vite drys in about 3-4 min and lasts for only a few days before I see chips. I get Dazzle Dry on amazon for about $8.50. It can cost up to $13.00. I get Seche Vite either on amazon or ebay for usually under $3.00 each.
CoverGirl Clean Makeup Sensitive in Tawny: This is my color match in foundation. The formula is med to full coverage. You can build it up. I like that you don't need a lot to apply. I am half way thru my current bottle. I just bought a backup. I had a coupon for $1 off at Meijer, so I won't be needing any for quite a while.
ORLY Bonder Rubberized Base Coat: I have been using this for almost 2 years and I LOVE IT. Even with a gel overlay, this helps to keep my polish on to make my designs last. It also fills in any ridges to help make the application of polish smoother. I get this on amazon or ebay for usually under $3.00 each.
e.l.f Eyeshadow Primer in Sheer: This is my favorite eyeshadow primer. I do not get any creasing or fading with this product. I also put it on my lower lash line, which helps keep my eyeliner from smudging and transfering. For only $1, this product is AWESOME. Have recently been purchasing other eye primers to test. I will be doing a review on these later in June. If this is something you would like to see, please comment and let me know your thoughts.
AVON Clearskin Professional Daily Correcting Lotion: I use this twice a day to keep down my break outs. No matter how old you get, you can still get break outs. If I don't use this everyday, I can tell. There are other items to this regime, such as a mask and scrub, but I like to just use this product.
Wet n Wild Megalast eye liner: This is an inexpensive eyeliner for about $1.89. It has a dry formula which allows it to last a long time. I do get transfer from using this in the outer corner and on the lower lash line if I do not use an eyeshadow primer. I also use this as an eyebrow pencil and it does last all day.
Bath and Body Works Shower Gel Carried Away: This is one of MANY Bath and Body Works products that I have. I am trying to use up some of my back stock. My brother purchased me some of these mini shower gels for Christmas and this was the last one. In my previous empties video, I mentioned the other 2 which were Cashmere Glow and Pink Chiffon. I usually get my Bath and Body Works products from ebay. I liked the scent of this. It is very feminine. I may look into buying another when I get through some of what I already have.
Secret Clinical Strength Clear Gel Deodorant and AVON On Duty Sport 24hr Deodorant: The Secret deodorant was free. When I received my Beauty Box 5 for NOV 2013, it included a full size deodorant in the solid and a coupon for a free one. I liked the deodorant but the solid left "crumbs", which I did not like. When I used the coupon, I got the gel, which works much better. This deodorant is a but expensive starting at about $7.00 each. My fave deodorant is the AVON On Duty Sport 24hr. I have used this for many years, and always have a back stock. They can run from $.89 to $1.25 depending on the time of year, but that I a great deal on a good deodorant. It comes in 3 other versions as well.
Bath and Body Works Body Spray Sea Island Cotton: This is one of my favorite scents from Bath and Body Works. It has a very clean, linen fragrance. I have the shower gel, lotion and body spray. This was a smaller body spray, but I have a larger one that I am currently working on. This is a great fragrance for the Spring and Summer. Very clean and fresh.
Bath and Body Works Shower Gel Coconut Passionfruit: I don't know if they still make this or not, but I love this scent. I also have the Coconut Pineapple. This is a wonderful summer scent. One of the many that I have back stocked. The lather is great for all Bath and Body Works products. I love having lots of bubbles in the shower.
Fortune Cookie Soap Cuticle Butter Marshmallow Dreams: I love this cuticle butter. It melts right into you skin and smells like marshmallows. I got this in my Soap Box in Feb for Spring 2014. I just repurchased a new one. I threw the other bottle away but this is what it looks like. This is my new bottle. The runs $8.95 for this small bottle, but I will last for a while. It keeps your cuticles very hydrated for a long time. The reason is that it contains several oils, such as: Coconut Oil, Soya Oil, Avocado Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Castor Oil, Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil with also Vitamin E and Shea Butter. It is very rich and a little goes a long way. Well worth it. All products with Fortune Cookie Soaps are handmade..png)

Equate Oil Free Acne Wash: This is the Walmart brand for the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash. I used up my Neutrogena and decided to try this. I like this one better. The lather is better and the scent is not as medicinal and it doesn't dry my face out like the Neutrogena. The price is also cheaper. Almost $2 cheaper. I don't get to Walmart often, but I went to get and oil change and was doing to pick up another bottle, but they were out. I bought the OXY face wash since I had a coupon, so when I run out of that one, I will get another bottle of the
Equate Oil Free Acne Wash.
Fortune Cookie Soap Make it Rain Whipped Cream and Native Nectar Body Wash: Two more items from my Soap Box for Spring 2014. The lotion was great. It has a wonderful scent. I kept this on my desk at home so when I am doing my nails, I always have a lotion handy. I hate dry hands. I will look into repurchasing another bottle. The body wash smelled great, like coconut, but the lather was not there. I like a great lather with a bath and body product and this did not have that at all.
Victoria Secret Pro Airbrush FX Face Primer: I discovered this on ebay while looking for a face primer. I have used the AVON Magix primer in the past but wanted to try something else. This was a sample size for about $2.00. Since trying it I have bought 4 more. I really like this primer. It goes on nice and smooth and makes my makeup last all day without breaking down. I like a matte finish and this helps with that as well. I have 2 back ups and will look to purchasing a full size bottle.
Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment Lotion: One of my favorite dry skin lotions. This can be purchased at Dollar Tree and the tube is quite large for the price. It also comes in a bottle, which is a bit smaller. I kept this on my desk at work. I work on a computer and hate doing so with dry hands. This is also great as a body lotion. With the winter some of us just went thru, this lotion was key at keeping my skin hydrated.
Acetone and Pure Acetone from Sally's Beauty: The Acetone one is the Nourishing remover. For those who do their nails a lot and don't want to over dry their nails and cuticles may want to use this one. The Pure Acetone is for when you want to remove acrylics or soak on gel nails and even glitter. This will really dry out the nails and cuticles. I mix these together sometimes so that have the benefits of both. These big bottles are inexpensive and are usually on sale.
PONDS Towelettes Exfoliating Renewal with Citrus and Cucumber: These were on sale at Walgreens for buy 1 get one free. They run about $6 to$7 per pack. I usually use the ones in the lavender pack with White Tea and Chamomile. The exfoliating wipes have a nice light fragrance and little "nubs" to massage the face and lightly exfoliate. The nubs are also great for taking off mascara and eyeliner with not irritation.
